Our wonderful Dexter cow Honey gave us a
beautiful little boy named Blackberry on March 4, 2020. Late in
the day she brought him out of the secret hiding place where he
was born and into the open pasture to show him off. As we hurried
out to welcome him to the world, Blackberry toddled over to meet
his new friends, sniff our hands, and lay down in the soft grass
to relish the once-in-a-lifetime newborn experience of smiles
and adulation. After a half hour of praise and petting, his mama
called him away to the barn for safe keeping, and together they
walked down the hill as an amazing rainbow spread across the sky
to announce his arrival.
Blackberry was raised 100% organically, and was 100% grass-fed
on our native pastures.
Blossom arrived at the edge of a pasture
adorned with a pastel blanket of the bluest Bluebonnets, flaming
Indian Paintbrush, cheerful Blue-eyed Grass and delicate Meadow
Garlic. The heavenly scent of the flowers wafted upon the light
breeze, proclaiming the return of the lushness of spring and an
abundance of grass. Willow shuffled nervously, humming sweetly
to her tiny new girl to encourage her to enjoy a first taste of
cream. As we carefully made our way through the mounds of blue
blossoms, Willow turned towards us with eager eyes as she
spotted the feeder we carried and smelled the alfalfa treat that
it contained. Blossom had struggled to stand for the first time
just minutes before, but now was doing laps around her mama as
she stretched her newborn legs. We placed the feeder in front
of Willow, and as she hungrily devoured the treat, we introduced
ourselves to little Blossom and showed her the way to her mama’s
udder. Blossom latched on, and as the cream began to flow, we
gently petted the newest member of our herd and welcomed her to
the ranch. It was a uniquely magnificent place to enter the
world – in a pasture displaying the simplicity of the glory and
wonder of the blessings of creation. Welcome to the ranch
little Blossom…enjoy the amazing beauty!
Blossom was born 4/1/2023, and is homozygous polled and A2/A2,
and very nicely halter trained.
Blueberry was a fine Dexter boy
born to our wonderful cow Honey on April 4, 2019. He
was
wonderfully sweet and gentle like both of his parents, and he
greatly enjoyed interacting with us and playing with his friends.
Blueberry was A2N (A1A2) and heterozygous polled.
Blueberry was raised 100% organically, and was 100% grass-fed on
our native pastures.
On
March 10, 2021,
our Dexter cow Maribelle
gave us a sweet little boy named Bowie. We found them in a
private, scenic spot at the edge of the creek where the forest
floor tumbles down to ledges of weathered limestone shaded by
cheerful palmettos, yaupon hollies and ancient live oaks. Belle
was calm and serene, but eager for the praise and
congratulations we lavished upon her. Bowie rested peacefully a
few feet away, watching closely to gauge his new visitors.
After a quick brushing, Belle left us alone to babysit Bowie
while she grazed, giving us the opportunity to sit close and
gently pet him back to sleep. The trees creaked as they swayed
in the morning’s breezes, and the warmth of the early spring sun
filtered down to the forest floor littered with a soft bed of
oak leaves upon which Bowie contentedly napped. We visited him
throughout the day in his secret spot, until early evening
arrived and Belle returned to escort him up the hill where the
herd awaited his official welcome and his very first evening
romp.
Bowie is homozygous polled
and A2A2.
Bowie went to be a family
herdsire for a new herd near Burnet, Texas.
Welcome little one to a week of
Thankfulness for all the blessings that we have been given.
Welcome to fall pastures thick with tall grasses, skies of the
bluest blue, sunshine to warm your silky black coat on a brisk,
breezy day, and a gentle mama with loving eyes who is eager to
feed and nurture you. Welcome to the freedom to run and play in
unspoiled forests and hidden meadows, and to rest peacefully
with your family in confidence that your every need will be
provided through the coming winter. Welcome little one to
mornings full of the excitement of fresh hay, brushing and hugs.
Welcome little one…welcome to the ranch!
In honor of William Brewster and the legacy he established for
us all as the spiritual leader of the Pilgram colony in
Plymouth, William Bradford once wrote of him: “For his personal
abilities, he was qualified above many. He was wise and discreet
and well spoken, having a grave and deliberate utterance, of a
very cheerful spirit, very sociable and pleasant amongst his
friends, of a humble and modest mind, of a peaceable
disposition, undervaluing himself and his own abilities and
sometime overvaluing others.”
In this season of Thanksgiving, William Brewster occupies a
special place of prominence in our heritage, and therefore to
further honor his efforts, we introduce little “Brewster”, the
newest member of our sweet Dexter family!
Brewster is homozygous
polled and A2A2. He was born November 15, 2023.
Brewster went to be a family
herdsire for a new herd in West Virginia.
Where is Taffy, and where has she hidden her
calf…? The usually dewy pastures are frosted in white like
powdered sugar upon the Christmas cookies that accompany my tall
glass of frothy milk from the sweet little Dexter cow that we so
adore. The frost betrays my path, but it also reveals the recent
wanderings of our herd as the sun rises upon our sleepy
pastures. I search the pasture next to our house, looking into
every clump of brush and under every sheltering tree, but all I
find are fallen logs and rotting stumps. My search is
interrupted by the daily need to obtain another bucket of cream
to keep the cookie party going, and to experience the joy of
happy heifers greeting their treat on this first frosty morning
of the Christmas season. When my bucket is full, I hike the
pastures and wooded areas that I haven’t yet investigated, and
after completing a 40-acre tour, there’s still no sign of Taffy
or her new calf. She’s out there somewhere, and I know that
she’s eagerly waiting for me to arrive with her maternity
greeting. However, the continued search will have to wait, as
there are more hungry Dexters expecting morning treats at our
barn…and my legs need a rest.
The path to the barn is easy, and I walk slowly as I peer back
and forth into the shadows under the trees on both sides along
the trail. There’s still no sign of Taffy, and it seems that
another hike will be necessary after the festivities at the
barn. I stop to grab a fresh bale of hay as adorable Dexters
peer around the corner in eager anticipation, and I’m reminded
of past generations of difficult farm life as I enter the
dimness of the barn and prepare to load flakes of hay into the
crib. The herd lines up at their side of the crib and awaits the
flakes with steaming breath. The crib is filled and the
shuffling settles into quiet, contented munching. I grab the
pitchfork and round the corner of the barn to tidy their
accommodations, when to my delighted surprise, there in the
corner, sweetly napping upon a soft bed of thick hay, lies Taffy
glowing over her tiny newborn boy Buddy. I didn’t need to search
at all, because here she is…peace and beauty, love and
tenderness, Thankfulness and Joy…right here waiting for me at
the very best place of all. Welcome Buddy to life at the ranch!
Buddy is homozygous polled
and A2A2. He was born December 10, 2023.
Buddy went to be a family
herdsire for a new herd near Brenham, Texas.

organic.
Carmella went to be part of a new Dexter herd in
Smithville, Texas.
On
January 22, 2021,
our wonderful Dexter cow Honey delivered us a
sweet little girl! We went to the barn to check on Honey in the
afternoon, and after finding her getting a drink, we noticed
with excitement that she had lost a lot of weight. She wandered
the area as if searching for a while, and then eventually led us
to a clearing in the forest where she had hidden her precious
little calf. After she led it back to the barn, we spent a
delightful hour sitting with her. What a wonderful day for
Clover to come into the world and join the herd, and what a
fabulous blessing to enjoy!
Clover is
heterozygous polled and A2A2.
Clover went with her friends Hollyberry and
Crockett to be
part of a new Dexter herd near Somerville, Texas.
On August
5, 2020, our wonderful Dexter cow Willow delivered us a tiny
little boy named Crockett. Willow was quite shy about
showing him off, but we often saw him racing in circles around her
in the open pasture as he enjoyed his freedom, and he followed her
closely for every opportunity to enjoy her creamy, delicious
milk. Welcome to the ranch Crockett, there’s lots of fun ahead!
Daisy May was also born and
raised at our ranch, and her dark eyes sparkle with happiness
and a desire for a good brushing. Daisy is special and she
knows it, and her shining black coat and silky tail make her a
very pretty sight in the lush green pastures. Daisy is
sturdy and strong, and stands very nicely in the pasture for
milking.
Daisy is halter
trained, heterozygous polled and A2N. She is 100% grass fed and 100% chemical-free
organic.
Daisy went to be part of a new Dexter herd in
Smithville, Texas.
July 4th is
always a great day for fun and celebration, and this year the
day was exceptional. We awoke this morning with expectation, as
late in the day yesterday we had found that our very pregnant
cow Treva had separated from the herd, and therefore we knew she
would be delivering her calf overnight. We anticipated walking
the ranch for an hour or two to find her, but as we were
preparing breakfast, she appeared in the pasture beside our
house, trailed closely by the first red Dexter calf that we have
ever had born at our ranch. It appears that Treva has been
keeping a secret from us, and now we know that she carries the
red gene. Her tiny new boy is very red, very adorable, and an
amazing surprise! After breakfast, we found that she had led
little "Dandy" (Yankee Doodle...) to the pasture by our corral,
where the rest of our herd was unknowingly grazing. As we
watched, Treva led Dandy through the corral, and all heads
slowly turned to face her. Normally most of the herd will hurry
over to greet the new baby, but everyone was simply frozen in
surprise. Eventually our oldest steer Blackberry trotted over
to greet his new brother, and they excitedly sniffed noses
before Treva led Dandy back into the privacy of the brush line
for a long, shady nap with her boy.
Dandy is very sweet,
respectful, huggable and fun. He has been brushed and handled
thoroughly almost every day, and walks very well on the halter.
Dandy is also trained to easily and readily load into a trailer.
He is a gentle, friendly boy, and is extremely calm and
trustworthy.
Dandy has been raised 100% organically, with no
exposure to chemicals of any kind, and has been 100% grass-fed on
our native pastures. Dandy is homozygous polled, A2/A2,
red (E+/E+), and carries dun.

your mama is eager for you to get up, and she’s confident that
you can do it.

time into the loving eyes of your sweet mama as she
congratulates you and proudly announces your arrival!
Stand up little Dewberry, for the world
awaits…
Dandy is heterozygous
polled and A2A2, and went to be herd sire near Blanket, Texas.
Dulci is a wonderful, sweet cow and an independent
spirit. She greatly enjoys personal attention, and at
times we've discovered her patiently standing in her stall at
the barn waiting for us to show up with a brush and comb.
Dulci is heavy and well muscled, and holds her weight well
throughout the year. She is dun, A2N, dehorned, and nicely
halter trained.
Dulci has a tight, well-attached, excellently formed udder,
and carries a generous amount of milk. Dulci is an
outstanding mother and takes very good care of her high quality
calves.
Dulci went to be part of a small Dexter herd near
La Grange, Texas.
Esther was born May 5, 2018 to
our wonderful Dexter cow Sabrina. It was an exciting day,
as she was the first calf from our new bull Stephen, and she was
just perfect in every way. Such a sweet little girl!
Esther went to be part of a new Dexter herd near
Smithville, Texas.
Deep in the oak forest, past an
endless tangle of briar and the brush, there is a secret little
pasture known only to us and our Dexters. At the end of the day
yesterday, while our herd was enjoying their evening hay at our
barn, Ginger unexpectedly walked away in the direction of the
forest to look for a private spot to have her calf. Early this
morning, we briefly glimpsed her standing under the edge of the
trees with a tiny calf hiding behind her, but she quickly
disappeared into the dark tangle as we approached. It was a few
hours later when we began our search for the two of them, and
after many scratches from the briars, we arrived at the secret
pasture to find Ginger standing in the tall, dormant grasses
with a tiny new girl beside her. As Ginger eagerly ate the treat
that we brought for her, we had a moment to welcome her
beautiful little girl Evelyn (“Eva”) to the ranch, and to let
her know how excited we were to finally meet her. After giving
us a quick look, Eva slowly toddled off into the safety of the
briars at the edge of the glade. Springtime has arrived, and
little Eva will soon join up with Merrilee and Dewberry to romp
our pastures in joyful freedom!
Frio was born 3/5/2016. He is
heterozygous polled, has a beautiful dark chocolate dun color,
and has a nicely balanced conformation. He has a friendly
disposition and greatly enjoys being brushed and petted. He also
accepts the halter and is learning to lead.
Frio is A2N (A1A2), 100% grass fed, and 100% chemical-free
organic.
On
February 11, 2021, just three days before
the snow swirled and drifted and draped the ranch in a rare
mantle of white, our Dexter cow Ginger delivered us a sweet
little girl named Hollyberry. On the morning before the cold
winds arrived, while we were walking down the hill to put out a
few morning bales, we found our cow Ginger standing off to the
side and intently staring at the ground beside her under a
tree. As we turned to approach, a tiny new calf slowly stood
and wobbled over to her, and after receiving brief praises,
Ginger led her off to a private spot to bond with her despite
the coming freeze. It took Ginger a few days to rejoin the
herd, but just as the temperatures plunged, she had Hollyberry
tucked in the corner of the barn on a bed of soft, warm hay for
the remainder of the week. The weather may have been difficult,
but the smiles made up for it!
Hollyberry is A2A2 and homozygous polled.
Hollyberry went with her friends Clover and Crockett to be
part of a new Dexter herd near Somerville, Texas.
On March 1, 2021, the day
dawned rainy and cold, but spring had arrived along with green
grass and lines of chattering geese flying back north once
again. As our herd paraded past our house on their way to our
front pasture for their morning grazing, we noticed with
excitement that Taffy, who was last in line, was closely
followed by a tiny new baby boy! She stopped and grazed close
by so that we could rush out and greet her, and as she enjoyed
her congratulatory treat, her little boy wandered off into the
brush to hide. Later in the day he came out with us to enjoy
Taffy’s sweet cream, and as he wobbled over with bright,
inquisitive eyes, Taffy told us that his name is Huckleberry,
and gave him a soft nudge with her nose to push him closer so
that we could scratch his chin and welcome him to the herd!
Huckleberry
is being raised as a steer.
Huckleberry is being raised with
no exposure to chemicals of any kind, and is 100% grass-fed
on our native pastures.
As I
knelt in the deep grass and petted tiny Indy, the hot and humid
air was filled with the sweet singing of birds and the
background hum of summer cicadas. The huge canopy of the
Petting Tree towered overhead and cast deep, cool shade as we
enjoyed our first morning together with a soft brush and gentle
hands. Indy, who was born just yesterday afternoon, nodded his
head sleepily as his mother Willow looked on approvingly, and
closed his eyes as I slowly stroked his glossy, curly coat with
my brush. What an amazing little miracle to behold lying here
in the grass before me, so completely tame and trusting as I
spoke encouraging words to him of beauty and joy!
Indy
was born on July 2, 2021, in a quiet spot along our creek under
the shade of leafy ash trees, as the rest of the herd quietly
grazed close by. Maribelle, Willow's girl from two years ago,
was first to announce his arrival. Because we knew that
Willow's delivery was imminent, we quickly hiked into the
pasture in the direction she was looking. Our young calves from
earlier this year headed out in front of us, and their calls
from the creek easily told us where Willow was to be found.
There upon the damp forest floor lay a tiny black calf tucked
safely at Willow's side, with our other calves excitedly looking
on at the new arrival. As the calves eventually returned to
grazing, we had the opportunity to welcome little Indy to the
ranch with eager smiles. After a short rest, Willow led Indy up
the hill to the pasture in front of our house for another brief
nap. Then, as darkness began to fall, she led him around the
house under tall oaks silhouetted in black against a silvery
sunset of the loveliest purple and rose. Indy trotted close by
her side as Willow led him to the corral, and there they found
Maribelle awaiting her first evening with her tiny newborn
brother.
Indy was
black, homozygous polled, and A2/A2.
Indy was raised as a steer, and was 100% organic and 100% grass-fed.
Jubert is an exceptional dun,
heterozygous polled, Dexter bull calf. He was born
2/28/2017. Jubert has an amazingly friendly personality, he
greatly enjoys being brushed and petted, and is halter trained.
He is heavy, has an outstanding conformation, and is very well
developed for his age.
Jubert is A2N (A1A2), and is 100% grass fed and 100% chemical-free
organic.
On Easter morning, April 21, 2019, our Dexter cow
Treva delivered us a sweet little treat named Lily. Lily is tiny
and adorable, and very friendly. The herd gathered around us as
we knelt to say hello and gently pet her for the first time, and
we all welcomed her to the ranch together. Such a special day,
and such a special little girl. She is homozygous sweet and homozygous cute!
Lily is A2A2, heterozygous polled, 100% grass
fed, and 100% chemical-free organic.
Lily went to be part of a new Dexter herd in
Tomball, Texas.
We had another new member of our herd arrive on
March 26th, 2020. Our sweet Dexter heifer Taffy delivered us a tiny boy
named Loganberry (“Logan”). Taffy kept him hidden among the
brush and briars for a few days, but she finally brought
him out to show him off, and we had a very nice visit with him on
that
beautiful spring day.
Logan was raised as a steer, and was 100% organic
and 100% grass-fed.
Logan went with his friend Velvet to be part of a
new Dexter herd near Celina, Texas.
Sunlight
sparkled upon the trickling, limestone-bottomed creek as we
knelt upon its bank among the scattered leaves and twigs that
provided a bed for the tiny newborn calf laying before us. The
briskness of the morning air, and the sigh of the wind in the
trees above, provided a backdrop for a mid-winter day filled
with the excitement and joy of new life. “Merrilee” lay
motionless, snuggled down and hidden like a dark shadow amidst
the emerging winter grasses, decaying cedar stumps and fallen
logs. Her sparkling eyes blinked as she watched us trustingly,
and we spoke kind and gentle words for several minutes to
welcome her into the world. Our cow Maribelle soon appeared
across the creek and paused for a moment to assess the scene
before hustling over to ensure that her little girl was safe. Maribelle
sniffed her calf, and then turned and gave us an approving sniff
too.
We spent
several minutes there enjoying the wonder of a mother cow
lovingly humming to her newborn calf as Merrilee stood on wobbly
legs and toddled around. They circled each other awkwardly as
Merrilee searched for the milk she knew was there but couldn’t
quite connect with the udder standing before her. Eager to
catch up with the herd, Maribelle led her up the bank, across
the pasture past our aging barn, and down the forest trail in
search of her friends.
Shortly down
the trail, Maribelle’s mother Willow was waiting to meet her new
granddaughter. In a moment of extreme tenderness, Willow slowly
approached, lowered her head, and gently touched noses with
Merrilee for the very first time to welcome her to the
family. She then raised her head and softly nuzzled Belle on
the neck in approval. The blessing of the moment was amazing
and overwhelming, reminding us of the depth of the grace that
fills our lives with moments such as these. Our hour there was
the fulfillment of dreams, as Willow, Maribelle and precious
little Merrilee…grandmother, mother and daughter…celebrated an
unforgettable birthday with us by sharing their excitement and
love.
Merrilee is
A2A2 and homozygous polled.

Dexter herd near Sommerville, Texas.
New Year's Eve arrived like a fresh spring day after the deep
cold of winter, bringing with it the promise of a new year and
the bright blessings that it will hold. One of the most eagerly
awaited blessings here at the ranch is the arrival of new
calves, and on this special morning we looked out the window
across the foggy pasture to see our sweet cow Taffy with a tiny
new calf by her side. Taffy had her boy on the far side of our
cross fence, while the rest of the herd was gathered excitedly
on the near side as she allowed them a brief look through the
protection of the fence at the new addition to their family.
Taffy waited until we brought a treat and a few minutes of sweet
praise for her efforts, and then led little "Reveille" into the
woods for a day of restful recovery. Reveille is sweet and
friendly like his mama, and will bring many smiles to the new
year!
Rootbeer is the most amazing bull. He is
completely calm, gentle, predictable, trustworthy and
respectful. We can approach him at any time, and he
greatly enjoys our presence. Rootbeer wants to be first to
get brushed and scratched, and is very responsive and
appreciative. After everyone else gets brushed, he usually
wants to be brushed again. If he is laying down, he will
even roll over and hold his front leg up so that we can scratch
his chest. He is polite to his herd, and we've often seen
him playfully romping the pastures with the calves.
Although he isn't halter trained, he is easy to handle and is
very agreeable to being managed.
Sabrina is a truly outstanding
example of the Dexter breed. She has a
bright, friendly personality, a smile in her eyes, and always wants to be first.
When we were choosing which cows to purchase, Sabrina
sweetly approached us first and stood before us as long as we
would pet her.
Sabrina is very smart and
learns quickly. At times she amazes us by clearly
understanding what we are doing and anticipating our intent.
Sabrina has shown us over and over that cows are much smarter
that most people realize.
Sabrina is outstanding on the halter and stands
very sweetly for milking in the pasture. She has an
excellent udder and produces a generous amount of milk for both
us and her calf. Her milk is rich and delicious, having a
very nice percentage of thick cream and a wonderful flavor far
superior to any store-bought milk that we've ever had.
She has a smooth, dark mahogany dun coat; she is
dehorned and is A2N.
Sabrina went to be part of a new Dexter herd in
Smithville, Texas.
On May 17, our sweet Dexter cow Willow
delivered us a beautiful little heifer named Rosie. Rosie was
born in a shady wooded area along our creek, in the same
location that Willow chose for her previous calf. There was much
excitement as Willow introduced her to the herd soon after her
arrival, and then the herd moved off so that we could enjoy
quiet time sitting with Rosie while we gently welcomed her to
the ranch. She is sweet and precious, and we are so delighted to
have another healthy heifer. Each new calf is so tiny and
adorable, and such a blessing to behold!
Rosie
is homozygous polled, A2A2, 100%
grass fed, and 100% chemical-free organic.
Rosie lives with her friend Ruby as part of a new herd near Thrall, Texas.
Treva chose an excellent late-summer day
to deliver her calf. Although there appeared to be no end to
three months of hot, dry days, the skies finally darkened and a
light sprinkling of glorious rain fell softly upon our thirsty
pastures. A cool breeze blew from the north as the day arrived
full of the expectant promise of new life. As our herd gathered
for their morning visit with us, we noticed that Treva was
missing. We hiked down the hill to our barn and surrounding
area, and then followed our forest trail past hidden pastures
and shady retreats to a clearing in the back where we finally
found Treva standing sweetly over an adorable little red calf
resting silently at her feet. After a quick greeting and excited
congratulations, she called her little girl into the brush to
find a safe and private spot to recover and rest for the
remainder of the morning. Shortly after noon we found her again
with little Ruby at the top of a rise where the oaks and elms
grow tall and thick as they overlook a scenic bend in our dry
creek lined with tumbled limestone and cheerful palmettos. Treva
eagerly enjoyed the treat of alfalfa pellets that we had
brought, while Ruby toddled happily around her and eventually
sniffed our hand and allowed us to briefly pet her silky soft
coat. As Ruby settled down comfortably beside Treva, we sat with
her and spoke gentle words of welcome and love. Welcome little
Ruby…welcome to the love of your mama, the love of your herd,
and loving care that will fill your days with smiles and
laughter!
Ruby is heteroygous
polled, A2A2, 100%
grass fed, and 100% chemical-free organic.

Thrall, Texas.
Samson
was born 2/26/2016. He
is
a beautiful dark dun color and has an outstanding beefy and
balanced conformation. However, even greater than his healthy
good looks is his absolutely docile, calm, gentle, and friendly
disposition. He receives great pleasure from being brushed and
petted. Interaction with him is a joyful experience. He easily
accepts the halter and leads well enough for ranch handling.
Samson
is heterozygous polled, A2N (A1A2), 100%
grass fed, and 100% chemical-free organic.
The large photo above is

Scottie is a beautiful black,
heterozygous polled Dexter steer. He was born July 15,
2017. Scottie has very bright eyes, and is one of the
sweetest and friendliest calves that we've ever had.
Scottie was raised as a steer,
and was 100% grass fed and 100% chemical-free organic.
Scottie went to be part of a new Dexter herd in

Sunshine was born and raised at our ranch.
She has the most amazing personality, thoroughly enjoying our
attention and wanting to be around us. She is smart and
cute.
Sunshine is beefy and

Treva is our cutest, calmest
and most gentle cow, and it is impossible
to hide anything from her because she has the most amazing
sense of smell. Treva also greatly
enjoys being the center of attention. She is dun, A2/A2,
heterozygous polled, and halter trained.
Treva has a milk-cow
conformation and a compact udder held high and tight.
Treva is eager to participate in milking, and has the perfect
milk cow personality and demeanor. She milks easily as
she stands sweetly in the pasture for us without any complaint
or restraint
throughout the process, and her milk is creamy and delicious.
June 12th, 2020 was an exciting day, as our sweet
Dexter cow Treva delivered us a beautiful little boy named
Travis. We found Travis and his mama enjoying the morning
sunshine lounging by themselves in the peacefulness of a
dewberry patch in a quiet corner of our back pasture. As we
approached, Travis stood and toddled over to sniff our nose and
get petted. Later in the day, Treva decided to introduce him to
the herd, and it was a sweet moment when our cow Ginger did a
double-take as she first spotted him with Treva, and then romped
excitedly over to give him a welcome lick and a big moo to call
the rest of the herd over. Wonderful memories come from days
like this!
